Hershey's is coming out with a new limited edition Hershey's Kisses, "Crunchy Caramel Creme", as part of its 100th Anniversary.


Described as "Caramel Flavored Candy with Crunchy Candy Bits" on the packaging, they come wrapped in gold foil.

Hershey's is planning to enter the world of energy bars with its new Koko Energy Bar.


Imploring consumers to "Experience the power of cocoa!" the chocolate-based energy bar is expected to have a retail price of $1.29.

I don't see anything on Hershey's website about this, so I'm not sure if and when these are available in stores.

Panera Bread, fast becoming the Starbucks of the gourmet bakery world, is now offering their famous ribbon-shaped bagels in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.


Available in more than 1,100 Panera Bread bakery-cafes during the month of October, each Pink Ribbon Bagel has a pink tinge and features cherry chips and real bits of Bing cherries and cranberries.

For each sale of a Pink Ribbon Bagel, Panera Bread donates a portion of the proceeds to breast cancer charities. Last year, the company raised nearly $200,000 from Pink Ribbon Bagel sales and donations.

Yogos Bits - New Flavors

Kellogg's line of Yogos Bits was extended to include two new flavors, "Berry Berry Banana" and "Watermelon Splash".

The yogurt covered fruit flavored bits with a chewy center are claimed to be a "good source of calcium" fortified with 100% percent daily value of vitamin C.

They're meant to provide kids with a vitamin-rich alternative to snacking.

Key Lime Cookies

H-E-B, which is a line of grocery stores in Texas, is now offering Key Lime Chocolate Chip cookies under its own brand.

Made with white chocolate chips, they have the tangy flavor of LIME!

Maybe I'm just behind the times, but I haven't seen key lime flavored cookies before. I have a nephew who lives in Texas, I'll have to get him to send us some. My wife absolutely loves key lime pie, she'll probably like these cookies too.

The Key Lime with Real White Chocolate Chips variety comes in an 12.5 oz. plastic tray, with a retail price of $2.00.

Trolli Gummi Spiders

Just in time for Halloween, Farley's & Sathers has extended its line of Trolli Gummi Candy by adding a new animal: spiders.

Available in black cherry, grape, and strawberry varieties, the flavorful arachnids are sure to pull out the baby teeth of any boy or girl.

No word on if they ooze out webbing when you bite down them.

Ritz Bits Soccer Cheese

The newest entry to the Ritz Bits line of cracker sandwiches is this "Soccer Cheese"
variety.

The crackers have a soccer ball pattern molded on.

The box says that they're made with real cheese, but a quick glance at the ingredients found no "real cheese", only "Cheddar Cheese Powder". I dunno, if you threw down some cheese powder in front of a kid, I doubt he'd call it cheese.

Ritz Bits Soccer Cheese is also healthier than standard Ritz Bits, because the box says that they contain 5g of whole grain, and have 33 percent less fat.

Interestingly, it also says its the official cracker of Major League Soccer (MLS). I wonder if David Beckham has to eat these then?
