Barbie Rice Krispies Treats

Kellogg's Rice Krispies Treats now come in this new, "Crispy Pink Marshmallow Squares" variety with the Barbie as The Island Princess stamped on the carton.


For those of you Barbie collectors that have to buy everything there is with Barbie on it, are now forced to buy up as many of these boxes as possible. I'm guessing that 20 years from now, we'll be seeing these unopened boxes at Barbie collectors shows, just like those cans of Billy Beer.

The package features some games on the back.

Bubbie's Mochi - Melon Flavors

Bubbies Homemade Ice Cream & Desserts, Inc. has always had its ardent admirers which was propelled even further last year when Oprah Winfrey featured Bubbie's Mochi on the O List.

Bubbie's already has an extensive list of flavors for their premiumly-priced Mochi (a dollop of ice cream covered in a glutinous rice skin).

They've now introduced two new classically-Asian flavors: Honeydew and Cantaloupe.

The stuff isn't cheap online at $48 for 16 pieces. It is often found in smaller packages in Whole Foods and other premium grocery stores (though not usually in all flavors). Kosher and all natural.

Rice Works - Brown Rice Crisps

Snack Alliance, Inc. is now offering these Brown Rice Crisps to the USA under the Rice Works brand.

Produced in Canada, they're a riced version of tortilla chips, with a wide assortment of flavors, including, Salsa Verde, Arroz Mexicana, Thai Curry, Sweet Chili, Sea Salt, Sesame & Soy, and Wasabi.

They're touted at being uber-healthy and allergen-friendly, being wheat-free, gluten-free, with 1/3 the fat of potato chips, no trans fat, along with a bunch of other stuff that it doesn't have.

No explanation on where you can buy these, but I imagine places like Whole Foods Markets, would appear likely.
