Strawberry Pirouline

DeBeukelaer's Pirouline long ago cornered the market and our hearts with their crispy wafer stick filled with delicious cream. Always a little classier than the others with its European pedigree and fancy accents.

They're not content with being one of the originals and began adding new flavors to their line recently. This year they're adding Strawberry Delights and Hazelnut to their Creme de Pirouline.

Each 14 ounce canister is resealable to keep the wafers crisp and sells for $5.99. In order to keep up with the rest of the downsizing market they're also offering pairs of the sticks wrapped in 100 calorie packs (10 count) in a box for $3.29.

Loacker Quadratini Fresh & FruityThree new varieties were added to the Loacker brand of Quadratini creme-filled wafers.

These varieties fall under a special subset dubbed, "Fresh & Fruity", especially designed for consumers which the company says, "...are eager to discover the fascination of a convincing fresh and natural fruity taste and style."

Varieties include, Orange, Apple, and Blackcurrant, and are said to be made with real fruit.

Note: I actually saw these at a Cost Plus World Market last May, and considered trying them out, but didn't.
