The weather is cooling down, and El Pollo Loco is keeping things hot with their newest menu item ~ authentic Chicken Tortilla Soup. The soup is made fresh each day in El Pollo Loco restaurants using their famous flame-grilled chicken coupled with sliced carrots, celery, roasted corn, tortilla strips, cilantro and Cotija cheese.

This soup sounds like a great meal for a cool winter day! It is available in a small, individual size that is a filling enough for a light meal in itself. It is also being offered in a combo with a Mexican Caesar Salad and a small drink if you're looking for a little more.

Amaretto Brownie Mix

Lisa keeps asking me what I'm going dress for this Halloween party we're supposed to go to (though I'm still not sure we're even invited!). This brings the total number of Drumstick flavors to 13 in all. It's part of Dreyer's way to celebrate 75 years of Nestle's Drumsticks.

Cinnamon Rolls that contain Gold Nuggets

"Search for Gold inside the Cinnamon Rolls" is the hottest campaign that Cinnabon Jordan is running during the Holy Month of Ramadan. All Cinnabon outlets in the country of Jordan are offering customers the chance to win "Gold Ounces", which are hidden in random cinnamon rolls and Cinnabon Stix.

Jana Restaurant Management, owners of Cinnabon Jordan, strategically designed this campaign intending to provide its customers with a valuable prize during the Holy Month of Ramadan. Hundreds of Gold Ounces will be rewarded in the promotion.

It's not clear yet if Cinnabon Jordan has partnered with a local dentist to fix any broken teeth.

Cleavage Filtered Nuts

Dee's Nuts has the distinction of offering consumers the only "cleavage filtered nuts", apparently enhancing the flavor and enjoyment of millions of peanuts and cashews.

According to the company founders, the saga began when an errant nut flew between the ample cleavage of a female friend. Someone ate the nut, and discovered the hallowed journey had mysteriously made it tastier. Now Dee's Nuts, out of Charleston S.C., cycles every nut they sell between the breasts of a beautiful woman.

So how do the nuts actually get filtered? Well, they have filterers standing in old whiskey barrels. These ladies rub their breasts down with peanut oil. After the nuts are roasted, they are carried from the roaster in beer mugs, to the filterers. The ladies actually pour the nuts between their boobies, thus filtering out the impurities, adding a saltier taste, and enhancing their flavors.

They actually have one of their filterers interviewed on a radio station.

Click on the link labeled, "Browse thousands of inflight meals", and then scroll down to find the airline company you're interested in seeing.

Photos and reviews of the edible offerings are uploaded by actual passengers. They also have photos and reviews of what the crew gets to eat, and honestly, I'm not sure if it's any better.

Still, Airline Meals offers us another great way to waste company time.
