Cold Stone Creamery, a gourmet ice cream shop with 1,200 stores nationwide, has launched a program called, "Fruitcake Freedom Initiative".
Under the program, recipients of fruitcakes this Christmas season can haul their dreaded bricks of bread and fruit to a Cold Stone Creamery and exchange it for a $5.00 discount off any medium 8-inch ice cream cake.
The program runs from December 1, through December 31.
