have you tried it yet?
These are the most "potent" energy bars I've ever eaten. The 5000mg of maca in each bar has an amazing effect on my libido. My wife and I enjoy these maca bars together. They have really helped our relationship! I love the Maple Chunk Fudge. My wife loves the White chocolate bar. She considers it quite delicious and "decadent." We find the bars rich and filling.
These organic Maca Bars from Potent Food company are great. THey do not have junk food ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, chemical flavors, dyes, etc. I use them as meal replacements or snacks before exercise. Highly recommend them.
I've tried the maple chunk and cherry chunk, both are wonderful. They pack an energy punch, 6g of fiber and 8g of protein with a refreshing taste without the sickly sweet processed sugar. They have a good amount of iron, are high in potassium and will stick with you for hours.
Is there anyone other than staff who has tried this stuff & is it from the "standardized formulation" & are you really paying $3 for a chocolate bar ? Sounds like you are better off buying "maca" supplement, considerably less expensive if you need the surge & from what I hear it cost less to swallow a viagra
I actually sell these bars on my website and they are wonderful. Yes they are $2.99 and before they were $3.39 so they have come down in price. They have several other ingredients that are beneficial to your body and it is a nice treat - wonderful taste and still good for you. I will be riding Ragbrai on the Lance Armstrong team this year and I will be taking these along to keep my energy up. Julie - www.delightfulhealth.com
Even though the raw powder maca does not taste sooo good, I prefer it raw. Reason, less processed maca is more nutritional and we get more benefits. I would need to know how maca bars are made before making decision to buy it.
However, I would not mind having few healthy made maca bars in my pocket when on the road!
I tried the Maca Bar and bought MACA POWDER and deep the bar to it.Wow! The taste is really great!! About an hour ago,I felt something inside of me. It's like a fire burning. It really shocking that the effects of bar deep into maca powder will not takes a day.

I'm not a Potent Foods employee and have tried the Maca bars. I used to be able to buy them from health food stores but they no longer carry them. I like the bars, they taste good. I ate approx 2 bars a week so I didn't really get the full effects of the bar. I wish the health food stores would carry the bars again.
I'm sorry, the maca tastes like caca and far from chocolate. It should say, "vitamin bar" or "energy bar". Calling it chocolate is like saying sawdust tastes like oatmeal. I think I know what cow poop tastes like now.
