Passing along some information I obtained regarding some limited edition candy bars that Hershey is planning for 2006.For the first quarter, the company is planning "Milk Chocolate with Fudge Creme" as well as "Cookies 'n' Chocolate".
In the second quarter, we're supposed to see "Milk Chocolate Almond Joy TwoSomes" and then a King Size version of TwoSomes to be extended to their Reese's Mini Pieces and Heath varieties.
In the the third quarter, a "King Size Nut Lovers" version (pictured above) will be presented in a white wrapper flagged, "Almond, cashew, peanut and pecan pieces blended in white chocolate."
Planned for the fourth quarter, a "Special Dark Espresso Candy Bar" will come in packaging flagged, "Espresso roast flavored special dark chocolate." The "Hershey's Chunk Bar", touted in literature as "perfect partners... brownies & nuts," is identified in package copy as "Milk chocolate with chocolate brownie chunks."

I actually saw the Cookies n Chocolate version AND "Special Dark Espresso Candy Bar" at Target the other day. Maybe they decided to release it a lot earlier than originally planned.
Well, I for one am truly grateful that finally someone thought to print instructions on the wrapper to explain how to open the darn thing! I never thought I'd get my candy bar open!
"Lift & Pull Here" and "Hold Here" are so useful, and Hershey really did the public a great service in making those instructions available to those who've been struggling with the best way to rip into a candy bar!
And yes, I'm being sarcastic. ;)
