Just in time for the holiday season, Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages (CSAB) introduces new Pomegranate 7UP.Described as a "perfect blend of natural Pomegranate flavor added to the
crisp, refreshing lemon-lime taste", the famed soda brand is among the Johnny-come-lately's to jump on a Pomegranate bandwagon with little seating for more passengers.
"With its natural Pomegranate flavor and deep burgundy color, Pomegranate 7UP is a festive addition to the holiday season," said Matt Smith, 7UP brand director for CSAB. "Pomegranate is one of the fastest growing flavors in beverages today, and
Pomegranate 7UP makes a perfect primer for any holiday party."
Pomegranate 7UP has 100% natural flavors like its Lemon-Lime cousin, and is
caffeine free.
The limited edition soda will be on store shelves during the holiday season nationwide beginning Nov. 1, 2007 through Jan. 31, 2008.

Pomegranate would be great, but are they blending that with lemon-lime? If so...yuck!
The pomegranate 7up is Wonderful! I was a bit put off but thought I would try it... and sent my hubby back for more... now our grocery store is closing and I can't find it anywhere else. I am on the hunt. It reminds one o Shirley Temple drinks from childhood.... a winner in my book

Our family just tried it this evening and loved it! It has a crisp mildly fruity flavor. The champagne of holiday flavored soda!
Will they have it in diet?
I like it. And now I have a strong urge to pick me up a quart of vanilla ice cream and float it.
The pomegranate has been my favourite fruit since my mid-teens, so with this rush of pomegranate flavoured everythings out there recently, I bought the 7up. In no way does it taste like a pomegranate, but it's atleast good. Similarly to a very lite Shirley Temple.

I love it. I just went back and got 3 more bottles. Why is it that the flavors I like are usually out for just a limited time?
It...really does not have much of any taste whatsoever...absolutely uninteresting...as if it skips the tongue and goes straight into your system...the perfect drink for mediocrity.

A great Beverage by 7up not too bitter but just right. Now all they need to do is produce it all the time .. whats with this limited time crap .. But that's what they said about the Cranberry splash sierra mist so.. we will see.

so delicious... perfect amount of sweetness and flavor. not overbearing like a lot of other fruit flavors.
I found the DIET and it is about a 22.2 on a 10 scale! It is really fabulous! I wish they'd keep this one! It's soooooo darn good!!!

Diet Pomegranate 7up is excellent!! I love it!! I want to buy about 10 bottles so I have enought to last for awhile..

The pomegranate 7Up is wonderful! Can't find it in our hometown, so we have to travel an hour to a store that carries it right now. Should be a year-round item! Please, Sir! We want more!

If you live in Iowa they have it at the Hy-Vee grocery stores for $2. I love it! I don't think it actually has any pomegranate juice - rather vitamin E as the antioxidant. Oh well, it's something different and it's refreshing. They also had the diet version on sale too.
I just finished my last pomegranate diet 7 UP. I'd been saving it for a long time. Luckily my family doesn't care for it. anyone got more?

We have plenty in the promised land (SLC, Utah), and it is the best soda out there, just the right fizz too. anyone who said they hated it hasn't really tried it. I'm on a Qt bottle a day habit
