Described as "the most incredibly topped pizza in America", it's basic premise is having double the toppings and 50% more cheese.
The world's largest pizza chain actually said that this new pizza has so many toppings, they had to utilize the "folded crust" design to help corral them all in.
"As we head into the holiday season, we know families will be busy entertaining, so our pizza chefs have cooked up a new delicious, flavorful pizza that's sure to please a crowd," said Brian Niccol, Pizza Hut CMO.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And if you thought it couldn't get any better, they're bringing in the Bee Gees to sing their hit song, "How Deep is Your Love" on the company's television commercials.
The new Double Deep Pizza will be available for a limited time beginning November 18 at a price of $12.99 with three recipes: Supreme, Meaty and Veggie.

Ah yes nothing better then Double Deep Pizza, now with more added cheese in the crust, can we say clog the arteries even more, yum! Eating one right now, not very good. the bottom crust is about a millimeter thick, the toppings fall right thru the bottom of the crust. What Pizza Hut needs to do is bring back BIGFOOT. Now that was a good pizza.
I ordered one of these last night. The crust was paper thin and gooey... completely inedible. When the delivery person brought me a different pizza for a replacement, she informed me that I was one of several complaints regarding the new pizza and it's gooey too-thin crust. In fact, she said the mgr had stopped accepting orders for this item until he could work out a reason for the poor quality of the item.

I'm going to try it ! Not only does it look good but to hear a great Bee Gees song, this is heaven ! They are # ONE ...like it or not, they have been in the music business since the 50's They have comme full circle, from when they started singing, to support the Gibb family...

I ordered one. What a disappointment! It wasn't double anything except crust. Never again. The hand-tossed large is $2.00 less than the medium "double-deep".
The pizza looks gross (as all pizza hut pizza does), but the guy in the ad looks delicious!

anyway, i havent actually tried the pizza, but i was looking for what it was called because my roommate wanted to try it.
I found that if you let the pizza sit and cool down, then reheat it in the actual oven for 7 minutes, the crust is actually pretty good.. too bad it doesn't come to us like that...and we still feel the urge to tip the drivers.

Pizza Hut isn't even real pizza. You guys don't know good pizza on the west coast, so you have to deal with crappy Dominos, Pizza Hut and Round Table. I feel sorry for you :(
