The folks at Ben & Jerry's announced the winner of their "Do us a Flavor" contest, where people submit their ice cream flavor ideas. The winner is Tasha Callister of Jacksonville, Florida who submitted her flavor called, "Puttin' On The Ritz", described as a mouth-watering blend of Vanilla Ice Cream, Caramel and Ritz Cracker Swirl with Chunks of Chocolate Covered Sandwiches.
She claims it's based on something her grandmother did, by roasting cubes of caramel on sticks over a campfire, then smushing the soft stick stuff between a couple of Ritz crackers.

I think the Curious Avocado Experiment, despite being a slight rip-off of the show Alton Brown did by that name, sounds pretty tasty.
How about Wasabi Peas in Spumoni?
Aw, I think the runners up sound 10 times better than the flavor that won.
They didn't even choose mine as a "worst". I don't remember what I called it, but it was vanilla ice cream with maple fudge and cheddar cheese chunks. I think I named it something Vermonty. Maybe even "The Full Vermonty".
I used to work at a country store where we gave samples of fudge and local cheddar cheese. I used to eat them together.
Ritz? Aren't those laden with PHSO and trans-fats?
A sign that Ben & Jerry's (Lever) is moving away from their roots?
