The Inventure Group, who would like to be known for their Intensely Different (tm) products, has teamed up with Burger King.Their new product is being promoted as a Burger King snack item that can be purchased outside of the fast food outlets and are free of trans fats.
They potato-based chips come in a two flavors including the Ketchup & Fries (in fry shapes), Flame Broiled Burger (in chip shapes).
Packages range from 2 ounce, 3 oz. and 5 oz. in stores as well as a a 1 oz. 100 calorie pack for vending machines.
Official Burger King website (which makes no mention of these things) and a Consumerist.com post from last month that does. Here's the original press release ... I'd like to work someplace where my email address I put on press releases ends with whopper.com.

Burger flavored chips? Not so sure that sounds appetizing!
I would eat the hell out of those.
now if they can press a 16oz coke into a chip, we'll have a complete meal (ketchup is a vegetable) ...
I don't know about the buger flavoured chips, but we've had ketchup chips in Canada since before I can remember. Way to be original

I am not much of a chip eater or burger joint enthusiast but am an investor in The Inventure Group. I spotted the flame broiled flavored chips and purchased to taste test. I can say the taste reminds me of the true flavors of the flamebroiling. It's a good chip and passed the all important kid test too. Congrats on incubating a product with real taste appeal.
I just bought them from the vending machine here at work 10 minutes ago. While I'm always up for the latest in junk food, I must admit they are gross! They are essentially like Tato Skins (remember those?) in small strip form with bright red ketchup flavored powder on them. I couldn't decide which was worse: the color or the taste. I'll give the burger flavored ones a shot if I happen to see them somewhere . . .
First off - Tato Skins kick ass. I LOOVE them! I too just bought the Ketchup & Fries bag from my vending machine at work and thought they were damn tasty. I'd love to try the Burger ones!
FYI - if you want some strange flavors, just visit Japan.
I also bought these from my work vending machine and they are AMAZING. Sadly, they were replaced in the vending machine and I cannot find them anywhere!
The ketchup fries are AWESOME!!! But alas, I too got them from a vending machine but have no idea where to get more. :-(
I bought these today (Ketchup and Fry version, tastes a lot more like ketchup), they are awesome! Seriously, like some of the best chips I've ever had
For some reason, here in Chicago, I've only seen them in a KMart or Menards, go figure.

I weigh 576lbs. i havent really left my bedroom since november, but when i heard about this new chip, i pulled myself up and wakled to the store. they are indeed very tasty. i will be buying more of these chips. you can count on that!

I can't find these anywhere, which is a shame because they are sooooo good. I got them out of the vending machine at work, until they stopped putting them in there. Anyone know anywhere to find em?
I bought both flavors last night from Blockbusters, and I like them. I have a feeling they won't be around for a long time though.
I thought they were delicious. I had a large bag, and was just going to try a few, and by the end of the night I finished the bag. I can not wait to buy more! They taste like fries and ketchup, minus the grease. that is a plus.

they taste great i'm eating a bag now they sale the big bags at a store called teh dollar tree but i normally get the from the vending machine at my job soon as they fill them up i buy them all

The product "Burger King" which is grouped to produce this product. This is like a potato chips but it contains to flavour Ketchup & Fries. I ate it. This is a good snacks item.

I'm Melissa and id like to tell burger king about how awesome zesty sauce is me and my boyfriend eat burger king like all the time and its so delicious i put it on my bk chicken fries and my whopper i know i sound like a fatty right now but i cant help it trust me im not i am just really happy that the zesty sauce was invented because i enjoy eating it when i go there if burger king ever gets rid of it i will stop going there and they will lose so much business. i cant believe how someone made something so great and put it into a little container filled of greatness awesomeness and spunk i love you zesty sauce you are truly a great condom and i love that i cant eat you:)
