Don't forget that this Sunday (July 16) is National Ice Cream Day.It was actually in 1984, that President Ronald Reagan designated the third Sunday in July as National Ice Cream Day, and called for people to observe the day with "appropriate ceremonies and activities."
So, it's not some lop-sided shindig that one company came up with.
That means it's our patriotic duty to pay homage to that great American institution: little boys and girls slurping ice cream cones on a hot July weekend.
I'm making it a point to do so, are you?
