Sensations is the name of a new line of potato chips and tortilla chips from Frito-Lay. The brand is actually carried under the Lay's and Tostito's line. The concept of Sensations is to satisfy what the company sees as a growing trend with consumers looking for new and different flavor experiences. Basically, it's for totally sensational new flavor ideas.
Lay's Sensations potato chips will be available in "Lime & Cracked Black Pepper", a blend of citrus and bold pepper flavors, and "Sweet Chili & Sour Cream", a mix of "sweet heat" and the smooth taste of sour cream. These are kettle cooked chips giving them great crunch and texture.
Tostitos Sensations "Red Chile & Lime with Crushed Red Pepper", combines the bold flavors of red chili and red pepper with the cooling citrus taste of lime. The "Southwestern Ranch with Black Peppercorn" tortilla chips combine a blend of creamy ranch and cumin with real bits black peppercorns.
The chips are available nationally beginning this month.

Frito-Lay has released this usder the Walkers brand in the UK long ago.
I visited London this past summer from the states and fell in love with Walkers flavors, especially Lamb & Mint and all of the Indian flavors. I was always ask family to send me packages of these. Lay's needs to start importing flavors as well as the sleek packaging. I am sure there are big enough markets in larger cities.
What happened to the Lays Kettle Cooked Lime and Cracked Pepper chips? You can not find in Tallahassee anymore and the company is not advertising them on their website. I loved them and want more.
All the Peking Spare Rib & 5 Spice flavor are the best, every time I go back to the UK I have to fill a suitcase for everyone who wants these. I have written to Lays several times but never get a response...Paul
Got bad news. I haven't been able to find these anywhere in my area. Frito-Lay said they are "being phased out". I tried every store in my area that is listed on the website as having them. No one does. I asked 2 Frito-Lay reps that were stocking stores about them & they said the warehouse had been out. How can they sell them if they don't put them in the stores? Call Frito-Lay & tell them we like them & to give them a chance. They've only been promoting them since about March.
i prefer tempe chips, indonesian traditional and delicious snack, you must try it.

I just returned from the Netherlands and the "Sensations" brand is as popular as ever. I don't understand why these items aren't promoted better in the states. Or why there was so little available as far as flavors in the states. I had Asian Secrets Chicken Pasanda, Red Sweet Paprika, Mexican Peppers and Cream, Oven Roasted Chicken and Thyme and Olive Oil with Rosemary. All of these flavors were fantastic!! What gives?!? Why don't we have these in the States?
