Friendly's Ice Cream is now shipping a light variety of its Forbidden Chocolate.Stamped "Smooth Churned" and "All Natural Flavor" on the carton, its sold in 1.75 quart cartons in the USA. There is also a vanilla variety of the same ilk.
Friendly's operates a chain of Americana-style restaurants along the Eastern seaboard.
criminy, they're falling victim to this "slow churned" nonsense, too? i think the dreyer's stuff blows - it makes me feel sick after i eat it - but i guess the competition can't ignore its success
