Red rain is excellent. It tastes just as good if not better than Red bull in my opinion. And it only cost $4.97 for a 4 pack at Walmart here in London Ontario. They sell Red bull as well but they are $2.99 each!!! You do the math
ReplyDeleteI just purchased 5 cans for $2.00
ReplyDeletegreat deal, jamican grocerys just off of victoria park

ReplyDeleteI got 3 cans for $1 at a little west indian market in Scarborough, ON! Anyone know how many calories are in a can?
ReplyDeleteanyone know the calories?
ReplyDeletewhy drink the imitation, Red Bull is the original
ReplyDeleteRed Rain is my choice for energy drinks. Red Rave is identical but is harder to buy. Red Bull maybe the original but why pay way more! I like to have a can before I go for an hour or more run, it definetly gives me that extra boost!
ReplyDeleteI just got an email back from Cott....
ReplyDeleteThe Sugar Free Red Rain has 6.4 calories per 250mL serving. The regular Red Rain 120 calories per 250ml serving.
Red Rain has the SAME ingredients as Red Bull.
ReplyDeleteDon't be tricked by the Red Bull marketing.
Red Rain is just as good, and is 1/4 the price.
Anyone know of a good place selling Red Rain cheap by Ryerson University in TO?
I just paid 17.99 for 24 pack of Red Rain/Rave cans at COSTCO. Its red bull, perhaps even tasts better, and is less than 30% the cost when bought in bulk. ITS A NO BRAINER for anyone with intellect ><.. dont belive me? compare the medical ingrediants. ^_^
ReplyDeleteRed Rain blows Red Bull out of the water in tast and price! I'm converted :)
ReplyDelete@ st clair flea market there selling a case of 24 for just 8 bucks =p got 2 cases today whata buy
ReplyDeleteWOW tastes great! I had been using the Suger Free version of Red Bull....but by far this tastes much better. Got a 6 pack at Walmart in Dallas,Tx for under $5 bucks. What I like the most is the B vitamins are way higher % giving you much more energy!! I AM SOLD!
ReplyDeletei like energy drinks alot!...red rain is the best tasting by far....i can by 24 of them for under 20 bucks...way cheaper and better then rd bull.
ReplyDeleteanyone know where I can grab some of these near U of T St. George? or Near yonge and steeles??
ReplyDeleteI actually work for Cott in the bottling plant here in Mississauga. I'm hooked on the stuff and good thing I can sample for free. (-8
ReplyDeleteIf you guys have any questions regarding the product, please feel free to email me. I'll be more than happy to pass on your concerns to the marketing team here:
stevensly@hotmail.com
It's not crazy, these brands both taste the same, but why pay more for marketing/promotions?
All in all, red rain is doing great and am proud to work for a company whose focus is on quality, not $$$.
Red Rain is the shit. A 4 Pack is $3.99 at No Frills in Orangeville, Ontario. It's definately a hell of a lot cheaper then Redbull, and tastes better.
ReplyDeleteWe sell Red Rain in our ProShop at Champion Fight Club Combative Arts/Miletich Fighting Systems Saskatoon. The stuff works great and is way cheaper than Red Bull. www.ChampionFightClub.ca
ReplyDeleteRed Rain is awesome.....I am a grad student in Newark, NJ USA and I just tried it for the first time today.....man it is awesome.....I haven't tried the sugar free version yet but I hope to soon enough. I loved Red Bull but it's just too expensive on my grad stipend. They were selling Red Rain for 50 cents at the general dollar store here in Newark! Wow.....way way way cheaper than Red Bull and without the higher price BullS**T! go Red Rain!
ReplyDeleteTaste is horrible, I've had many others that are pallatable, this has a horrid aftertaste.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know the carb count on red rain. it's fantastic but no nutrient info on the package and I'm diabetic. need to know carbs
ReplyDeleteAnon - Red Rain regular is all sugar and water. The diet version uses Sucralose & AceK and shouldn't have any carbs at all based on their ingredients label.
ReplyDeleteI have been drinking sugar free RB for 3 years and tried sugar free RR on a visit to TX- tastes just like RB!
ReplyDeleteMy problem is, I can't find it in Iowa. Are all Walmarts suppose to carry it in the US?
Does anyone know?
Thanks!
They Stopped stocking on Red Rain in Butler PA wal-mart i was pissed that stuff helped me get 3 sacks 2 picks and a handful of touchdowns in a pick up game.
ReplyDeletered rain is the best low prise great tasting energy drink that actually works, 10 out of 10 for me
ReplyDeleteIn TO Arround Jarvis and dundas there's a chinese dollar store on the corner across from the hotel. They should give you a good deal if you ask.
ReplyDeleteI dunno bout red rain but i just got some of this red rave stuff today and just tastes horrible, but w.e it was cheap and it gets the job done well
ReplyDeleteJust for clarification if you go to Costco and purchase the 24 you are getting Red Rave and not Red Rain. Both distributed by Cott Beverages Ltd. however the former is imported from the US. The font and colouring are exact and so are the ingredients, however the effects are different. Red Rain(US) has a greater alertness effect than does the Red Rave making it more effective also a slightly diff taste. Most likely attributed to a hidden ingredient. Either way it's far better than Red Bull and they should start selling them at hotdog vendors
ReplyDeleteWal Mart here in Texas had an exclusive deal will Cotts and you could only get it from the Wal Mart warehouse. I have been all over San Antonio chasing it down. Red Bull muscled them out and now I can't find it at all. I am SUPER addicted to the Red Rain Sugar Free. Any ideas on how to obtain. The local distributor had not "completely" blown me off yet but close. THANKS!!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe this stuff.I'm a Canada Post letter carrier and I noticed I was slowing down and getting a little more fatigued as I was approaching middle age so an younger postie said why not try an energy drink. So I went to Safeway and got some Red Rain. With in two days I cut my sorting time by 30% and shaved an good hour off my waking time plus my muscles don't even ache. Just for only $1.25 a day. Thank You Cott Corp
ReplyDeleteThe red rain acai-blu is SO GOOD I love it! It's the best tasting energy drink out there and it's way cheaper than red bull. It still has the same amount of energy ingredients in it so don't pay attention to the red bull commercials that try to make you think they have the best effect!
ReplyDeleteEnergy drinks are full of shit. I wouldn't touch Red Rain with a 10ft pole.
ReplyDeleteIf you want an "energy boost", all you really need is a normal diet and just keep in good shape.
Never mix energy drinks with alcohol.
ALWAYS mix energy drinks with alcohol.
ReplyDeleteThe Sugar Free Red Rain has 6.4 calories per 250mL serving. The regular Red Rain 120 calories per 250ml serving.
Try the Cappuccino flavour. I like that one best. Not always on the shelf though. I drink one before hockey - definitely give me a little more jump.
ReplyDelete3 for $2, at Oceans Food Market, in Brampton
ReplyDeleteI just got 5 cans of the Mocha Cappuccino for around 4 bux. It is OK. but not great. The original is awesome. Better than any other brand and in the perfect portion.
ReplyDeletei just bought some at our local dollar store and it works great there a dollar a can and its 16 oz i cant believe how good it really works i am defiantly going to continue buying this!!
ReplyDelete~ Akron Ohio ~
