El Pollo Loco Chicken Tortilla Soup

The weather is cooling down, and El Pollo Loco is keeping things hot with their newest menu item ~ authentic Chicken Tortilla Soup. The soup is made fresh each day in El Pollo Loco restaurants using their famous flame-grilled chicken coupled with sliced carrots, celery, roasted corn, tortilla strips, cilantro and Cotija cheese.

This soup sounds like a great meal for a cool winter day! It is available in a small, individual size that is a filling enough for a light meal in itself. It is also being offered in a combo with a Mexican Caesar Salad and a small drink if you're looking for a little more.

If you're interested in this one, you'll have to hurry. El Pollo Loco's Chicken Tortilla Soup is available now until January 8, 2006. This month you can buy a large (3-4 person) bowl for $1 with the purchase of a Family Meal or get the small bowl with a salad and drink for $5.99.
